About The Good Dog Depot
The Good Dog Depot helps new puppy and dog parents find what they actually need, and skip what they don't.
We started this site because shopping for a new dog is overwhelming. There are thousands of products, and most "best of" lists are written by people who have never looked past the label.
Our founder has spent more than a decade in manufacturing: running a production facility, managing purchasing and ingredient sourcing, and passing food-safety quality audits. That background shapes everything here. We care about what a product is made of, how it's made, and whether it holds up in a real home with a real dog.
Everything on this site is organized around real moments: bringing home a puppy, adopting a rescue, keeping your dog safe in the kitchen, and getting your house organized around a four-legged family member.
